PRiMA Theatre is offering a fresh imagining of Andrew Lloyd Webber's EVITA, known to theatre audiences as a musical masterpiece. "Our take on EVITA will offer a new look at a historic story that carries universal themes."
It's hard to forget the classic movie for all ages, Big. Tom Hanks played the title role of Josh Baskin who, as a child, wished he was 'big'. From there, Josh had to live with his wish and find out what being 'big' truly meant. This 1988 movie was then written into a musical and is currently running on the stage at The Fulton Theatre through the Eichmann Family Series productions.

To celebrate, he has invited 74 showcase alumni to return to the stage in 5 concerts of his songs in what he deems: Seth's 400th Showcase Nonapalooza! The five concerts will be: Today, May 3rd; Today, May 10th; Friday, May 13th; Monday, May 16th; and Today, May 24th, all at 7PM. Shows are all at 7PM at Don't Tell Mama, 343 W. 46th St. There is a $12 cover and 2 drink minimum. 'Diva's Lament' will be performed by Tony nominated actress Ann Crumb when The Media Theatre presents the hilarious Monty Python musical Spamalot, tonight, September 25-November 3. She has appeared on Media's stage previously in the acclaimed productions Master Class, Wings, and Souvenir. In those three productions she was directed by Artistic Director Jesse Cline.

PRiMA Theatre will present Elton John & Tim Rice's AIDA at Steinman Hall at the Ware Center today, September 8, and again on September 15 (2pm, 7pm).
