The Costume Institute's spring 2015 exhibition, China: Through the Looking Glass, will be on view at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from May 7 through August 16, 2015 (preceded on May 4 by The Costume Institute Benefit). Presented in the Museum's Chinese Galleries and Anna Wintour Costume Center, the exhibition will explore how China has fueled the fashionable imagination for centuries, resulting in highly creative distortions of cultural realities and mythologies. In this collaboration between The Costume Institute and the Department of Asian Art, high fashion will be juxtaposed with Chinese costumes, paintings, porcelains, and other art, as well as films, to reveal enchanting reflections of Chinese imagery.

Fall/Winter 2015 marks the second season of a year-long support program launched in celebration of the Swarovski Collective's 15 th Anniversary. This season's New York based designers, Prabal Gurung, Rodarte, Creatures of the Wind, Wes Gordon, Misha Nonoo, Tim Coppens will also compete for the inaugural Swarovski Collective Prize for Innovation, with the chance to win 25,000 for their brand.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) paid tribute to the winners and honorees of the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards in collaboration with Swarovski at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. Film director and screenwriter John Waters was the host for the evening. For the thirteenth year in a row, the evening was generously underwritten by Swarovski.

The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NYSPCC), the world's first child protection agency, held its annual fall benefit on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at The Metropolitan Club in Manhattan. This year, The NYSPCC's benefit was their Inaugural Wine Dinner. The 215 guests, dressed in festive attire, enjoyed an extraordinary menu designed by renowned chef, Jonathan Waxman, of Barbuto, and featured excellent wines from the Napa Valley winery, Tournesol. Last night was the annual Met Gala celebrating the Costume Institute. This year's theme was Punk: Chaos To Couture. The stars did not disappoint in the fashion department. Some went all out punk (did you see Madonna?) confusing the event with a Halloween party, while others played it too safe.

Jason Wu's contemporary line, Miss Wu, launched at Nordstrom in January, and he's already released his second set of looks.
