Photo Coverage: Met Gala Best Dressed

Last night was the annual Met Gala celebrating the Costume Institute. This year's theme was Punk: Chaos To Couture. The stars did not disappoint in the fashion department. Some went all out punk (did you see Madonna?) confusing the event with a Halloween party, while others played it too safe.

Below are the highlights of the evening where stars like Cocoa Rocha and Amanda Seyfried went for edgy glamour, Gwen Stefani and Miley Cyrus rocked out as themselves (who else is more 90's punk than Stefani?!) and Sarah Jessica Parker dressed to the nines including a punk inspired Philip Treacy hat.

Also, it seems Anne Hathaway has smoothed over her Oscars faux pas and made up with long time fashion pal Valentino not only wearing one of his creations last night, but walked the carpet arm and arm.
