In this collaboration between The Costume Institute and the Department of Asian Art, high fashion will be juxtaposed with Chinese costumes, paintings, porcelains, and other art, including films, to reveal enchanting reflections of Chinese imagery.

The New School's Mannes School of Music and Parsons School of Design co-present the New York City premiere of Flight, by composer Jonathan Dove. Catherine Zehr, Costume Designer for the NYC company, 'Ballets with a Twist' and Artistic Director and Choreographer, Marilyn Klaus were at FIT to discuss their unique collaboration to a full house audience. Dance pieces were performed by the troupe as part of the exciting event.
