Paul’s Players Present LOVE NOTES Concert, 2/15

Nothing says Valentine's Day like love songs and chocolate, both of which are available at the Paul's Players production of Love Notes. This concert of love songs from Broadway, served with desserts and coffee, will be presented on February 11, 2012 at 7:30 p.m., and February 12, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. Performances are at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, 27475 Five Mile Road, Livonia. The Farmington Players Present GYPSY Through May 22

The Farmington Players Present GYPSY April 30 through May 22 at the Barn Theatre. The production is directed by Jason Wilhoite, with musical direction by Rachel Rose and choreography by Allison Soranno.

Farmington Players Ends Run of FROM THE MOUNTAINS OF MOURNE, 3/21

The Farmington Players Barn will end their run of the play, 'From The Mountains of Mourne to the Mines of Montana.' It is a little known tale of 'The West,' that brought Irish ancestors to the Detroit area. Director Sue Rogers of West Bloomfield says, the play is 'dedicated to their valiant spirit.' Rogers emphasizes that the work by Lisa Hayes 'provides a very personal opportunity to share that pride in our heritage; to sing songs, tell stories and enjoy each other's company-what the Irish refer to as ‘craic.'

As the Irish prepare to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, The Farmington Players Barn is honoring their heritage with the play, 'From The Mountains of Mourne to the Mines of Montana.' It is a little known tale of 'The West,' that brought Irish ancestors to the Detroit area. Director Sue Rogers of West Bloomfield says, the play is 'dedicated to their valiant spirit.' The Farmington Players are looking for young men ages 16-25 and boys ages 8-15, who are interested in performing in the hit Broadway Musical Gypsy. Dancers are encouraged to audition. The open audition is set for February 3, at 7pm at the Kenwood Church of Christ. 20200 Merriman Rd. Livonia, MI 48152.

Sign-in for ages 8-17 is at 12:30 and 2:30pm for ages 18 and over. Call backs are on Monday January 25, 2010 at 7pm.
