The Growing Stage, The Children's Theatre of New Jersey, located in the Historic Palace Theatre on Route 183 in Netcong, New Jersey completes its 2014 - 2015 Main Stage season with A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD. The show runs April 17th through May 10th with performances Saturday and Sunday matinees at 4:00 PM and a special Opening Night performance at 7:30PM.

RYAN CABRERA has announced today that his long-awaited new EP WAKE UP BEAUTIFUL will be released Tuesday, March 3 via Dynamite Music/Caroline. The platinum-selling pop singer, songwriter, musician's first single from the collection, “House On Fire,” is out now on iTunes and all other digital retailers, and will officially impact radio this Monday (1/12). The upbeat, feel-good track has received early support from radio immediately following its premiere on SiriusXM Hits 1 and is already climbing the Hot AC chart. Netflix continues to break boundaries between the worlds of Hollywood and streaming services with its first day-and-date movie premiere -- a sequel to Ang Lee's CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON. Variety writes that after reaching a deal with The Weinstein Co., the movie will hit IMAX theaters and Netflix on August 28, 2015.

Australian theatre producer John Frost and Opera Australia Artistic Director Lyndon Terracini previously announced that Jason Scott Lee has had to withdraw from their production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic Broadway musical The King and I in Melbourne. Lee has torn a calf muscle which will preclude him from performing for the rest of the season.

The Growing Stage, The Children's Theatre of New Jersey, located in the Historic Palace Theatre on Route 183 in Netcong, New Jersey is proud to present the World Premiere of THE SECRET LIFE OF HUBIE HARTZEL from February 7th through March 2nd with performances Friday evenings at 7:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 4:00 PM. The work was created by Susan Rowan Masters as a book and later as a radio play. Masters took her work and adapted it for the stage for submission to The Growing Stage's 2013 New Play Reading Festival, in which she won. THE SECRET LIFE OF HUBIE HARTZEL is the first world premiere in the company's history and is under the direction of Stephen L. Fredericks, The Growing Stage's Executive Director.
