A new exhibition explores the controversial case that inspired the Broadway musical PARADE.

A national London-based arts producer and Manchester's newest theatre have announced a major collaboration which will put the venue on the arts map in the North of England. Aria Entertainment has joined forces with Hope Mill Theatre in Ancoats to spearhead the venue as a platform to showcase and revive musical theatre.

The Dramatists Guild Fund (DGF) announces that playwright Madeleine George will conduct a master class with students and early career writers at the College of Charleston (66 George Street Charleston, South Carolina 29424) on February 5th at 4:00 PM, during the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival as part of the Traveling Masters Program.

American Conservatory Theater continues its 2015-16 seasonwith THE UNFORTUNATES (tonight, February 3, through April 10, 2016), a darkly comic musical that uses a unique mix of early 20th century American blues and gospel stylings fused with modern and syncopated rhythms to transport audiences to a world of memory and mythmaking.

Following multiple sold out engagements, Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band returns to the intimate Manhattan venue Feinstein's/ 54 Below on Saturday February 20th to continue an official residence for 2015. The 9:30 PM concert, helmed by director Max Friedman, features guest vocalists Gerard Canonico (Spring Awakening, American Idiot), Nicholas Christopher (Motown The Musical, Lazarus), Matt Doyle (The Book of Mormon, Spring Awakening), Tony Award Nominee Bryce Pinkham (Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, The Heidi Chronicles), Alysha Umphress (On The Town, American Idiot), and more TBA. Friedman and Rosen co-produce the series.

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) favorite and Academy Award nominee, David Strathairn (Underneath the Lintel at A.C.T.; film: Good Night, and Good Luck, Lincoln, The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel), returns to A.C.T. for a special three-week engagement of Joseph Dougherty's CHESTER BAILEY (May 25-June 12, 2016) at A.C.T.'s Strand Theater.
