Following multiple sold out engagements, Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band returns to the intimate Manhattan venue Feinstein's/ 54 Below on Saturday February 20th to continue an official residence for 2015. The 9:30 PM concert, helmed by director Max Friedman, features guest vocalists Gerard Canonico (Spring Awakening, American Idiot), Nicholas Christopher (Motown The Musical, Lazarus), Matt Doyle (The Book of Mormon, Spring Awakening), Tony Award Nominee Bryce Pinkham (Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, The Heidi Chronicles), Alysha Umphress (On The Town, American Idiot), and more TBA. Friedman and Rosen co-produce the series.

Charlie Rosen is a highly sought after Multi-Instrumentalist, Composer, Music Director, Arranger, and Orchestrator. Last season, Rosen received a Drama Desk Nomination for his contributions to the orchestration for Jason Robert Brown's Honeymoon In Vegas, and was most recently on Broadway in the orchestra for Kander & Ebb's The Visit at The Lyceum Theatre. Rosen previously composed the score for Roundabout Theater Company's Cyrano de Bergerac and served as musical director and bassist for the onstage band in One Man, Two Guvnors on Broadway. His Broadway credits also include Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and 13. With director Max Friedman, he co-created the original Sondheim jazz revue The Bluest Ink. His debut EP, "Monet Sabel & The Charlie Rosen Big Band," is now available on iTunes. A single version of Rosen's arrangement of Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" (featuring Hannah Elless, Monet Julia Sabel, and Alysha Umphress), a Broadway Big Band fan favorite, is available as a free download on SoundCloud.
