Sundance Institute announced today the lineup of films selected to screen in the U.S. and World Cinema Dramatic and Documentary Competitions for the 25th Sundance Film Festival. In addition to the four Competition categories, the Festival presents films in five out-of-competition sections to be announced tomorrow. The 2009 Sundance Film Festival runs January 15-25 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden, and Sundance, Utah.

Henry Winkler and Elizabeth Moss will join Jayne Atkinson, Asher Book, Jason Ritter and Missy Yager in the cast of Rinne Groff's The Ruby Sunrise. Part of the Los Angeles Theatre Works' 'The Play's The Thing' radio theatre series, performances will be held March 14-18 at the Skirball Cultural Center and recorded for future broadcast.
The Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles has begun planning its line-up for the 2007/2008 season, which will include the West Coast premiere of Wendy Wasserstein's final play, Third, and a world premiere musical co-conceived by Larry Gelbart and David Zippel entitled The Best is Yet to Come, featuring songs by the legendary Cy Coleman.
