Daisy Eagan to Star in L.A. Hayworth Theatre's JERSEY SHORESICAL
Tony Award recipient Daisy Eagan will star as Snooki alongside drag sensation Willam Belli and actor Jessica Buttafuoco in JERSEY SHOREsical: A Frickin' Rock Opera.
The parody musical returns in a production at L.A.'s Hayworth Theatre. The musical, written by Daniel Franzese and Hanna LoPatin and based on the popular reality TV show Jersey Shore, won Best Ensemble at the NY Fringe Festival and received notable accolades from critics.
Not only will Franzese make an appearance in the production, but also at each performance, an undisclosed guest "Grenade" will show up. In the past, the "Grenade" was Jason Ritter from NBC's Parenthood, among other stars, according to Goldstar.com.
Eagan won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden. Her other Broadway credits include Les Miserables and James Joyce's The Dead. Her film and TV credits include Losing Isaiah, Ripe, Tony n' Tina's Wedding, "Without a Trace", "Ghost Whisperer", "Numb3rs" and "The Unit". She also won an LA Weekly Award for her performance in The Wild Party at The Blank Theatre Company.
