In this week's Sunday Sitdown, Jackman talks to Willie Geist about his theatrical roots, his loving marriage with Deborra-lee Furness, and the inspiration for his cafe in New York City, Laughing Man Coffee.

On Monday night, Academy Award nominated actor Hugh Jackman received the Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film from the Santa Barbara International Film Festival at the Ritz Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara, CA. Jackman was honored for his illustrious career in film and his recent work in The Front Runner. On hand to celebrate this momentous occasion were cast mate J.K. Simmons, Director Jason Reitman, and longtime friend Ben Mendelsohn.

dick clark productions announced today several spectacular additions to the list of honorees at the 22nd Annual “Hollywood Film Awards.”  Glenn Close will receive the “Hollywood Actress Award” for her stunning performance in Sony Pictures Classic's The Wife, while Hugh Jackman will be recognized for his powerful turn in Sony Pictures' The Front Runner. Austin Film Festival & Writers Conference (AFF), the premier film festival recognizing the writers' contributions to film, television, and new media, announced today that Natalie Portman drama Vox Lux will bow as the Opening Night Film for the fest's 25th Anniversary, running October 25 through November 1. The Santa Barbara International Film Festival announced today that Academy Award® nominee Hugh Jackman will be honored with the thirteenth annual Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film. The award will be presented at a black-tie Gala dinner at The Ritz Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara on Monday, November 19, 2018. The multi-faceted Jackman may best be known for Oscar nominated films THE GREATEST SHOWMAN and LES MISERABLES, THE X-MEN FRANCHISE, and PRISONERS. The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) today announced the 2018 honorees to be recognized at the 21st annual SCAD Savannah Film Festival, taking place Oct. 27-Nov. 3.
