Actor, comedian, and writer Lauren Weedman is heading to town to create a one-woman improvised theater show Well I Think You're Beautiful Philadelphia… based on her experiences in the city. Praised for her "unflinchingly honest comic observation" (Seattle Weekly), Weedman is a series regular on HBO's hit new show Looking, which chronicles the struggles, loves, and lives of three gay men in San Francisco. She has garnered a cult reputation for her quick wit and spitfire jokes through her acting and comedic roles, and this new work marks her Philadelphia debut.

The company of Broadway's Tony Award-winning, record-breaking smash hit musical Chicago just welcomed two-time Olympic silver medalist and three-time world champion figure skater Elvis Stojko in his Broadway stage debut. Stojko assumes the role of 'that silver-tongued Prince of the Courtroom,' slick criminal lawyer Billy Flynn, for eight performances only through Sunday, March 23 at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.). Image Entertainment, an RLJ Entertainment (NASDAQ: RLJE) brand, announces the Digital, DVD and Blu-ray release of The Outsider. The action film was written and directed by Brian A Miller (House of the Rising Sun) and stars Jason Patric (The Lost Boys), James Caan (The Godfather, “Las Vegas”), Craig Fairbrass (“EastEnders”, Vikingdom) and Shannon Elizabeth (American Pie). The Outsider will be available on DVD for a SRP of $27.97 and Blu-ray for a SRP of $29.97.

On Monday, January 27 (3pm and 7pm), Cherry Lane Theatre will present Love/Kill by Joe Pintauro. The project will be directed by Valentina Fratti and will feature the talents of Angelina Fiordellisi, Mandy Gonzales, Alex Morgan, Dennis Parlato and Peter McRobbie.
