LIFE'S CHANGING TIDE: The music and lyrics of Bobby Cronin will be presented on Monday, February 16, 2009 from 7:00pm - 8:30pm at the Laurie Beechman Theatre at The West Bank Cafe on 42nd and 9th. A night of Bobby Cronin's music featuring a bunch of his insanely talented friends...some of whom are heading out on tour for a while and some of whom just got back from tour! The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) and Executive Director Kathy Evans announced the directors and casts for the eight musicals being presented at its 20th Annual Festival of New Musicals at New World Stages (340 West 50th St) on Monday, October 20 and Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Also, announced were the line-up for this year's Songwriter Showcase happening during the Festival.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) concludes its fifth year which featured 24 full productions, a dance series, a developmental series, concerts and special events tonight 10/5th.

The concert, appropriately dubbed 'The Out-of-Towners' Edition, will feauture the work of some incredible musical theatre writers from around the country: Brian Mazaferri (Chicago), Michael Mahler & Alan Schmuckler (Chicago), Matt Conner (Washington DC), and Michael Biello & Dan Martin (Philadelphia).

On Sunday, September 28th at 7:00pm, Dreamlight Theatre Company will present the next installment of 'Bright Lights', a concert series dedicated to showcasing the work of emerging composers and lyricists in musical theatre.
