The Servant of Two Masters will play a limited engagement at Teatro LATEA (Clemente Soto Velez Cultural and Educational Center, 107 Suffolk Street, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10002). New Perspectives Theatre Company and VH Theatrical Development Foundation are delighted to announce a new collaboration on a limited-run production of She Calls Me Firefly by Teresa Lotz, opening tonight, April 15, 2015 and running through May 3, 2015 with a varied performance schedule. The production takes advantage of the New Perspectives Studio storefront at 458 West 37th Street to bring the phrase 'drinks and a show' to a whole new level.

Swados & Courtney's New Musical THE NOMAD Begins Tonight at The Flea

The Flea Theater will present the World Premiere of THE NOMAD, a new musical with book & lyrics by Tony Award nominee Elizabeth Swados and Guggenheim Fellow Erin Courtney, composed & directed by Swados. Performances begin tonight, February 19. The production runs through April 6, 2015.

Rattlestick Extends SHESH YAK

Rattlestick Playwrights and LaiLou Productions have announced that the world premiere of Shesh Yak, written by Laith Nakli and directed by Bruce McCarty, will extend one week through Saturday, February 28 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place, west of Seventh Avenue South. The production had originally been scheduled to run through Sunday, February 22.

New Musical THE NOMAD Begins 2/19 at The Flea

The Flea Theater will present the World Premiere of THE NOMAD, a new musical with book & lyrics by Tony Award nominee Elizabeth Swados and Guggenheim Fellow Erin Courtney, composed & directed by Swados. Previews begin February 26 with opening slated for February 28.

THE BRIGHTNESS OF HEAVEN to be Presented at APAP Next Month

After an acclaimed Off-Broadway engagement, THE BRIGHTNESS OF HEAVEN, a new play by best-selling author Laura Pedersen, directed by Ludovica Villar-Hauser, will soon be presented in regional productions, and will start the new year with two presentations at the Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Hilton NY Midtown (1335 Avenue of the Americas) in the Regents Parlor (scheduled for 4:40 PM and 11:25 PM). World Premiere of SHESH YAK Begins at Rattlestick Next Month

Rattlestick Playwrights and LaiLou Productions have announced that the world premiere of Shesh Yak, written by Laith Nakli and directed by Bruce McCarty, will begin previews Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place, west of Seventh Avenue South. The official opening night is set for Thursday, January 29, 2015. The production will play through Sunday, February 22, 2015.

Melissa Ritz's BOMBSHELL: THE INA RAY HUTTON STORY Sells Out NY Engagements

Melissa Ritz received the Best Emerging Actress Award for her one-woman show Journey of a Bombshell: The Ina Ray Hutton Story. Ms. Ritz debuted her show with the United Solo Theatre Festival, the world's largest solo theatre festival, at Theatre Row on 42nd Street in New York City. Her show sold out all 4 performances, which featured music, tap dancing, and 12 characters from Ina's life.
