On Saturday evening, May 11, in celebration of Mother's Day, The Forum Theatre will present 'The Mothers Day Eve Double Feature! Hitchcock & PSYCHO!'

I am a huge fan of Louisa May Alcott's story of the March sisters and both films of Little Women, the one from the early 30s starring Katharine Hepburn and Joan Bennett and then the 1949 revival starring June Allyson, Elizabeth Taylor, Janet Leigh and Margaret O'Brien. I'm partial to the latter film, only because I love everyone in that cast, and it was in glorious technicolor. It also boasted Mary Astor as Marmee and Peter Lawford as Laurie.

Masterworks Broadway will release a newly remastered version of Bye Bye Birdie - The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, in conjunction with the film's 50th anniversary. Bye Bye Birdie opens a new chapter in the label's celebrated campaign to preserve the music of Broadway by entering the arena of film musical soundtracks. This new reissue of Bye Bye Birdie will include three bonus tracks and will be available on CD and via digital download January 8, 2013.

She has also recently wrapped production on the independent film Under The Skin for director Jonathan Glazer (Sexy Beast) playing the lead role and plays Janet Leigh in the upcoming film Hitchcock. She will soon return to Broadway opposite Benjamin Walker in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

Sony Music is proud to announce the release of Danny Elfman's Original Motion Picture Soundtrack recording of HITCHCOCK on December 4, 2012. The film is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock, and his wife and partner Alma Reville. It takes place during the making of Hitchcock's seminal movie PSYCHO, widely regarded as one of the greatest films ever made and the subject of Stephen Rebello's highly praised book Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho, on which the film HITCHCOCK is based. HITCHCOCK opens in select theatres November 23.
