With the reopening of one of the country's oldest community theaters and some unique staging in unexpected venues, New Orleans' historic French Quarter will pulse with productions of Tennessee Williams' works, as well as some inspired by or dedicated to the legendary playwright and his life in the city he considered his "spiritual home."

Southern Rep and the Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival will change THE NEW PLAY BACCHANAL's program agenda on Saturday, January 11 to accommodate the divisional playoff game between the New Orleans Saints and the Seattle Seahawks scheduled for the same day. Friday's agenda will remain the same.

According to Variety, The Madness of George III, which is touring the UK will make a West End transfer n the near future. The production, which is directed was Christopher Luscombe, will play the Apollo Theater, January 18 - March 31.
