The witty yet poignant THE BOOK OF WILL will have audiences laughing and applauding.

The nominations are here for the 2026 Tony Awards. This year, a high number of titles have onscreen counterparts, and we have rounded up how to watch these versions at home, from The Lost Boys to Schmigadoon!

What did our critic think of BOOK OF DAYS at Wichita Community Theatre?

Wichita Community Theatre presents Slow Food by Wendy MacLeod July 18th-28th. Performances run Thursday- Saturday with an 8pm curtain and Sunday matinees at 2pm each week. Slow Food is about a middle-aged couple who are empty nesters. They vacation to Palm Springs to celebrate their anniversary. They go to a Greek restaurant for dinner where a middle-aged waiter inserts himself into the couple's life and insists they share his life as well while delivering a slow meal. Slow Food is a great comedy that themes are very universal looking at how we deal and learn through the new changes life throws at us, each with its own ups and downs.

This summer, viewers can beat the heat and enjoy Broadway blockbusters from the comfort of their own homes with BroadwayHD! BroadwayHD has a variety of summer blockbuster titles, including Cats, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Hair, and more. 

For their second show of the 2019-2020 season, Wichita Community Theatre presents Tom Mula's Almighty Bob. The plot, simple yet fun, centers around Bob, a fresh-faced nursing home patient to Dr. Wally's care home after Bob's daughter Karen drops him off for a trial run visit. Bob, however, thinks that he is God. Taking place in a homey, sunny a?oequiet rooma?? of a small, pleasant, well-tended assisted-living facility, extraordinary, miraculous and comedic things begin to happen and take shape throughout the production which is directed by John Reel. Almighty Bob is currently running October 16-27 at 258 N. Fountain in College Hill, Wednesday through Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m

Jellicle Cats, come one, come all! Today marks the 37th anniversary of the original Broadway production of Cats! To celebrate the Tony and Olivier-Award winning musical, we're heading to the Jellicle Ball for a look back at the show's original and revival productions. Originally staged in 1984, The Importance remains the only musical adaptation of Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest to run in London. After a limited run here, the production found a new lease of life in Peterborough two years later under a different title, Born in a Handbag. This recording has been a labour of love with over twenty years in production and is being released by Stage Door Records at the end of this month.

Stage Door Records are pleased to announce that the previously unreleased studio cast recording of the 1984 West End musical 'The Importance' will be released on February 26th, 2016. The CD release continues Stage Door's commitment to preserve 'lost' British theatre scores of the past 50 years.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats, the second longest-running Broadway musical (only surpassed by Lloyd Webber's own 'The Phantom of the Opera'), and fourth longest-running West End musical, returns in high definition and digital sound to GREAT PERFORMANCES where it had its 1998 world television premiere. The special encore presentation will air tonight, November 21 at 9 p.m. ET on PBS (check local listings) as part of the PBS Arts Fall Festival.

Inherit the Wind opened last night at Wichita Community Theatre. Through the use of inventive staging, clear and specific story telling and honest performances, director Mark T. Mannette made this classic script feel fresh and relevant.
