Bay Area Cabaret, the organization dedicated to presenting world renowned artists who expand the definition of cabaret, presents multi-Grammy-Award winning jazz pianist/composer Ramsey Lewis and jazz guitarist/vocalist John Pizzarelli in Straighten up and Fly Right: A Tribute to Nat King Cole.

?The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will make its SAN FRANCISO debut to OASIS (298 Eleventh Street, San Francisco CA) on Saturday, April 25 at 7:30 PM.

'Pompie's Place,' a unique pop-up blues supper-club is taking up residence at Don't Tell Mama, 343 West 46th Street, in April. Produced by Arthur Pomposello, "Pompie's Place" is an immersive nightclub experience transporting audiences to a mythic blues room of another time and place, in which the food is hot and the music even hotter!

Any opportunity to catch two-time Grammy-nominated international jazz superstar and frequent favorite BroadwayWorld Cabaret Award-winner Jane Monheit bring her talents to a local venue outside of New York (and even nearby Los Angeles) is its own cause for celebration. That was certainly evidenced by the rapturous reception she received during her triumphant return to Orange County's Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Monheit closed out the Center's 2014-2015 Jazz series with Hello Bluebird, her jazz-centric tribute to the legendary Judy Garland. As expected, the 85-minute concert was nothing less than stunning. Let me repeat... stunning.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater on Sunday, March 15 at 9:30 PM to continue the Winter/Spring 2015 Season. The Meeting* has been called "delicious and delightfully droll" by The New York Post and "hilarious and sardonic" by The Village Voice. A story for Slate.com called the evening "so deliciously icy that it left me shivering with fear and delight." The Fall 2014 shows sold out after a New York Times "Arts & Leisure" piece ran last September. The March show will be a celebration of the The Little Mermaid. Las Vegas' Smith Center for the Performing Arts is an extraordinary place. It's diverse programs encompass just about all of the performing arts. The building, designed by David M. Schwartz is a Neo Art Deco design and features a 47-bell carillon housed in a 17-story carillon tower. The design, Schwartz said at the opening, was chosen to echo the design elements of Hoover Dam, located 30 miles away. It is the first performing arts center in the United States to be Gold LEED certified. After three years of planning and construction, it opened on March 10, 2012.
