The 2012 La MaMa Moves! festival is taking a different step this year. Fewer companies, longer engagements, all works by female artists. But still chockablock with surprises wrapped in new dances including "Love Story, Palestine," a powerful world premiere by Yoshiko Chuma; "Beauty," a New York premiere by Jane Comfort; "Digital Duets," a cross-continental world premiere made possible through the magic of digital media; the U.S. premiere of Ann Liv Young's "Mermaid Show," plus Chamber Works I and II, which features a series of premieres by Juliette Mapp, Maura Donahue, Yuko Takahashi. Now in its seventh year, the 2012 La MaMa Moves! festival runs today May 9 through May 20.

Keigwin + Company (K+C) returns to The Joyce Theater, 175 Eighth Avenue, NYC, for its annual weeklong season including the World Premieres of two new dances on June 12- 17, 2012. Larry Keigwin (Artistic Director) is a native New Yorker and graduate from Hofstra University, where he received a BA in Dance. He founded KEIGWIN + COMPANY in 2003 and as Artistic Director, Keigwin has led the company as it has performed at theaters and dance festivals throughout New York City and across the country.

Abrons Arts Center and Barbara Busackino have announced that the critical and popular hit Arias with a Twist will return for a limited encore engagement Wednesday, September 14 - Saturday, October 15. This bigger-than-life cabinet of curiosities was created by seductive songstress Joey Arias, who stars, and Basil Twist, who directs and designs.
