Spin!, the outrageously entertaining verbatim reenactment of four recent preposterous sex scandals, begins performances tonight, September 18 at the Lynn Redgrave Theater at Culture Project (45 Bleecker Street at Lafayette Street), ahead of an official opening on Wednesday, October 1 at 7pm. The cast of Tail! Spin! features Arnie Burton (39 Steps, Peter and the Starcatcher), Rachel Dratch ('Saturday Night Live'), Sean Dugan (Next Fall, 'Smash'), Tom Galantich ('House of Cards') and Nate Smith (UCB, FunnyOrDie.com).

54 Below presented two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole in an exciting new show last night and BroadwayWorld was there. Currently starring on the hit TBS comedy series Sullivan & Son, Christine Ebersole returns to the New York nightclub scene with her first new show in two years. From pop to Broadway, and a few standards and jazz in between, the new show features Musical Director Bette Sussman(Cyndi Lauper, Bette Midler, Darlene Love, Whitney Houston) and a full band.

Celebrated cabaret performer Jamie deRoy presents a special evening of her multi MAC Award-winning variety show, Jamie de Roy & friends on Monday, September 22nd (7PM) at the famed New York jazz hot-spot Birdland (315 West 44th Street ~ between 8th & 9th Avenues) for its acclaimed "Broadway at Birdland Series." Proceeds from the evening will benefit The Actors Fund's newest program, The Jamie deRoy & friends Cabaret Initiative. The program has been created to assist people working in the cabaret industry who seek help for medical needs and concerns made available through the comprehensive services and programs at The Actors Fund.

Poor Behavior concludes its limited engagement this Sunday September 7 at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street - a NEW 42ND STREET project (229 West 42nd Street).

After a 54 Below debut in January that the New York Post's Michael Riedel called 'sensational', 'mesmerizing' and 'it brought down the house!', Patrick Page, recently of Casa Valentina, and Broadway's leading bad guy returned for an encore performance at 54 Below.

It was announced today that Tony Award-winner Carole Shelley will join the cast of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, which won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Musical. She will be stepping into the role of Miss Shingle on October 28th. Jane Carr, who originated the role, will play her final performance on October 26th.
