Signature Theatre has announced the cast and creative team of An Act of God directed by Eleanor Holdridge (Theatre J's Queens Girl in the World, Round House Theatre's Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley). Written by 13-time Emmy Award winner David Javerbaum (The Daily Show), An Act of God will receive its DC area premiere in Signature Theatre's intimate ARK Theatre, October 3 - November 26.

Due to popular demand, The Kennedy Center has announced the addition of four extra performances to the Kennedy Center's debut run of The Second City's irreverent and interactive seasonal satire, Twist Your Dickens. Tickets are now on sale for newly added 3p.m. matinees on December 21, 22, 28, and 29. Twist Your Dickens performances take place in the Theater Lab from December 9-31, 2016.

Artistic Director David Cerda lampoons a cartoon classic in the world premiere comedy SKOOBY DON'T, directed by Derek Van Barham. Follow the adventures of four adults - Scaggy, Fredd, Velva and Daffy - who wear the same clothes everyday while driving around in a van with their talking dog, 'solving mysteries.' SKOOBY DON'T will play September 29 - November 4, 2016 at Mary's Attic, 5400 N. Clark St. in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood. Tickets are currently available at www.handbagproductions.org or by calling (800) 838-3006. The press opening is Saturday, October 1 at 7:30 pm.
