Lythgoe Family Panto (LFP) expands across America this holiday season, including a multi-year deal at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium beginning with their newest production - THE WONDERFUL WINTER OF OZ. It will be directed by Bonnie Lythgoe and choreographed by Napoleon and Tabitha D'umo (NappyTabs), with book by Kris Lythgoe and Michael Orland (American Idol) serving as musical arranger and supervisor. Casting is by executive producer Becky Lythgoe. This will be the seventh holiday season of Lythgoe Family Panto in Pasadena, and their second in this larger venue.

On Monday, June 11, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present cast members from Broadway and touring companies of Million Dollar Quartet in a concert called 'Million Dollar Reunion.' The show featured James Snyder, Billy Woodward, Christopher Ryan Grant, David Abeles, Zurin Villanueva, and Billy Finn, with Larry Lelli on drums and Corey Kaiser on bass.

Pittsburgh CLO has amassed an impressive lineup of Broadway stars and Pittsburgh CLO veterans to bring the 2018 Summer Season to life June-August. The organization's core mission to produce shows locally helps to employ artists each year from Pittsburgh and across the country.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - has announced the world premier of 'ALICE IN WONDERLAND: AN X-RATED MUSICAL FANTASY IN CONCERT.' The debut performance features an all-star cast, and celebrates the sensuously silly new musical adaptation of Bill Osco's 1976 musical film. In celebration of their 5-year 'collabiversary', Look Up will feature songs from McGuire & Simon's daring new musical BORDERS, about two men who fall in love amidst the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as well as audience favorites from their immersive musical EXPRESS (conceived for the New York Transit Museum and last seen at New York Film Academy), and selections from their brand new Theatre For Young Audiences show KIBBY THE SPACE DOG (commissioned by Wichita Children's Theatre and Dance Center).

The musical theatre department at the New York Film Academy (now known as the Professional Conservatory of Musical Theatre) was launched in 2009 with nine students in the first class. Nine years later, hundreds of students have studied musical theatre at NYFA. The school's mission is to teach techniques being used every night on Broadway… and their faculty is the backbone of the Great White Way!

On this day in 2014, Idina Menzel did it all again in the new musical from the Pulitzer Prize-winning duo behind Next to Normal, If/Then.
