Birdland will kick-off their great week of programming with the following acts:

Acclaimed Jazz-man Steve Sedergreen, Australian operatic soprano Antoinette Halloran and musical theatre star Melissa Langton are among the all-star line-up of performers in Arts Centre Melbourne's 2018 High Tea Live series. Previously known as Jazz High Tea, High Tea Live will see the musical program expand beyond jazz, including classical, cabaret, opera and Broadway as well as special sessions for families. The beloved Arts Centre Melbourne tradition, features a different act on the first Sunday of every month from March until December. The full program will be announced in April.

World-class rhythm and blues/ boogie-woogie pianist Jools Holland has become a British institution over the last 25 plus years, having achieved worldwide acclaim as host of the immensely popular Later....With Jools Holland on BBC Two Television since its debut in 1992. Holland will now perform live in New York City, his first U.S. performance in more than 15 years, at the legendary Blue Note.

An all-star cast is set for world premiere docudrama THE TUG OF WAR by David Rambo, an L.A. Theatre Works-commissioned work that explores decision-making by a president in crisis. The production will run for five performances only, May 25-28, at UCLA's James Bridges Theater.

Madalena Alberto, one of West End's top leading ladies, is performing at Brasserie Zedel on the 23rd February, 7pm. Soak up the festive spirit and be transported back to the roaring 20s featuring two of Australia's much loved performers Emma Pask and Stephen Mahy in a Great Gatsby themed Christmas celebration. Stephen will channel the young and mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby, whilst Emma takes centre stage as his quixotic passion the beautiful former debutante Daisy Buchanan.
