Zion Theatre Company Presents THE LION, THE WITCH AN THE WARDROBE, 10/5-15

The popular story of magic and wonder The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is being remounted by Zion Theatre Company at the Castle Outdoor Amphitheater Theater in Provo on October 5, 6, 8, 12, 13, and 15. Perhaps Lewis's most recognizable work, ZTC's production of the nationally published adaptation was popular enough during its initial run in Salt Lake City this last summer to warrant a run for Utah Valley audiences.

BUTCH CASSIDY Among Films in HBO's 'Screen on the Green' Line-Up

HBO and Comcast are proud to announce the return of a favorite Washington summertime tradition, Screen on the Green. Marking its 14th year, the festival will kick-off July 16th with the 1969 classic 'BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID.

Tim Rice to Make Appearance on Theatre Talk Tonight

Sir Tim Rice, lyricist for the upcoming Broadway revivals of Evita and Jesus Christ Superstar - both written with composer Andrew Lloyd Webber - as well as New York's long-running The Lion King, returns to THEATER TALK for an all-new interview premiering Friday, March 23 (2012) at 1 a.m. on Thirteen, followed by airings on CUNY TV Saturday (3/24; 8:30 PM), Sunday (3/25; 12:30 PM) and Monday (3/26; 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 7:30 PM).

Danny O'Flaherty's A CELTIC CHRISTMAS Returns to JPAS Westwego Stage, 12/17 & 18

Jefferson Performing Arts Society (JPAS) will present once again the joyous holiday celebration A CELTIC CHRISTMAS with Irish Balladeer Danny O' Flaherty and Friends at the Westwego Performing Arts Theatre (177 Sala Ave. in Westwego). This celebration of the Christmas spirit is on stage for two performances only Saturday, Decmeber 17 at 7:30PM and Sunday, December 18 at 2PM.

On the occasion of the theatrical release of his eagerly awaited new film, Tree of Life, which will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, Museum of the Moving Image will present a retrospective of Terrence Malick's first four feature films-Days of Heaven, Badlands, The Thin Red Line, and The New World-from May 13 through 15, 2011.

In addition, the special includes a special holiday tribute performance by singing sensation, Susan Boyle.

Yesterday, June 6, the Ford's Theatre Society held its Annual Gala, 'America Celebrates July 4th at Ford's Theatre,' in Washington D.C. The show will be broadcast on the ABC Television Network on July 2, 2010 at 9pm. The evening's host was 'Modern Family' cast member Ty Burrell. Brodway stars such as Tony nominee Montego Glover, Gavin Lee and Laura Michelle Kelly were in attendance. BroadwayWorld brings you coverage of the event below.
