Clearwater Theatre's production of Next to Normal received rave reviews last year and is back again at Tarragon Theatre for a limited run this week. The Tony and Pulitizer Prize winning show tells the story of a family struggling to cope with issues surrounding mental illness, and packs a hefty emotional wallop. With some fantastic tunes and a heartfelt story, this is an eye opening musical likely to make you laugh and cry. Joining the cast this time around are Steffi DiDomenicantonio, Marty Burt and David Coomber. Today BWW is speaking with Steffi D about her experience playing Natalie, meeting Alice Ripley and more.

Next to Normal is a Pulitzer Prize winning musical that deals with love, loss, grief, mental illness and overcoming the hard obstacles many of us face in our lives. Last seen in Toronto this past summer, Clearwater Theatre is putting on a regional production this week at The Tarragon Theatre. BWW sat down to speak with the six person cast about what the show means to them, and why they think people should see it. Today we're speaking with Sara Farb who plays Natalie, James Daly who plays Gabe and Andre Morin who plays Henry.

One of Broadway's brightest stars, Bernadette Peters, will be the recipient of the Distinguished Dedication and Service to the American Musical Theater Award, presented by Westport Country Playhouse at the theater's '80th Birthday' gala, 'Playing Our Songs: Celebrating 80 Years of Musical Theater,' on the evening of Monday, September 19.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) announced that Tony and Emmy Award winner Tyne Daly will return to Manhattan Theatre Club as Maria Callas in a new Broadway production of Terrence McNally's award-winning play MASTER CLASS directed by Stephen Wadsworth.
