Today the Producers of Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS announced the all-Australian cast for the acclaimed West End revival production, which tours Australia from October this year. This much-loved record-breaking musical opens in Sydney on 30 October and is then touring to Hobart, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide finishing in Perth in April 2016.

The musical theatre treasure CABARET kicked off the Marriott Theatre's 2014 season last night, January 22 and runs through March 16 at 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire. CABARET is Kander and Ebb's legendary musical about English cabaret performer Sally Bowles, American writer Clifford Bradshaw, and the decadence of 1929 Berlin. The production is directed by David H. Lincoln Center Theater has announced that Bill Army, Will Brill, Laurel Casillo, Chuck Cooper, Steven Kaplan, Will LeBow, Mimi Lieber, Charlotte Maier, Andrea Martin, Deborah Offner, Matthew Saldivar, Matthew Schechter, Bob Stillman and Amy Warren will join Santino Fontana and Tony Shalhoub in the cast of its upcoming production of ACT ONE, a play written and directed by James Lapine from the autobiography by Moss Hart. The production is scheduled to begin previews Thursday, March 20 and open on Thursday, April 17 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Thomas P. Campbell, Director and CEO of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, announced today that the inaugural exhibition of the newly renovated Costume Institute in spring 2014 will examine the career of legendary 20th-century Anglo-American couturier Charles James (1906–1978). Charles James: Beyond Fashion, on view from May 8 through August 10, 2014 (preceded on May 5 by The Costume Institute Benefit), will be presented in two locations–The Costume Institute's new galleries as well as special exhibitions galleries on the Museum's first floor. The exhibition will explore James's design process and his use of sculptural, scientific, and mathematical approaches to construct revolutionary ball gowns and innovative tailoring that continue to influence designers today.

According to the Daily Mail, One Man, Two Guvnors star James Corden and Dominic Cooper are set to reunite in a production by the National Theatre. Artistic Director Nicholas Hytner is still searching for the right script, which includes having asked writers to create new shows or adapt classics. The Mail guesses the collaboration will begin in 2014.
