BROADWAY BARES returns again to its roots as the 2013 BARES season continues with BROADWAY BARES: SOLO STRIPS at 9 pm on Sunday, May 5 at XL Nightclub (512 West 42nd Street, NYC). At the Whats On Stage audience awards, Ghost the Musical's Richard Fleeshman just won 'Best Actor in a Musical' for Ghost. Talking to press after winning, Fleeshman talked about changes to the show that have been made for the currently rehearsing Broadway production, noting that 'We've made it more focused. Some of the illusions have gotten even more incredible and the cast is bigger. It's been very exciting.'

Ghost the Musical, beginning previews March 15th with the opening date set for April 23rd, is directed by Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus (God of Carnage, The Norman Conquests, Boeing-Boeing) and choreographed by Ashley Wallen (The X Factor, Kylie Minogue). Ghost The Musical is created by a team of Grammy and Academy Award winners, with a brand-new original score by Dave Stewart (half of the multi-Grammy Award winning Eurythmics) and Glen Ballard (Michael Jackson's Man In The Mirror, Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill), with a book by Bruce Joel Rubin (Ghost, Jacob's Ladder, The Time Traveler's Wife), who has adapted his Academy Award winning original screenplay for the stage. This brand new score also includes the iconic song 'Unchained Melody,' famously performed in the film by The Righteous Brothers. In an unprecedented move for a Broadway musical, Facebook users were offered exclusive access to Ghost The Musical through the show's special event, The Ghost Light Sessions on Tuesday, January 24th. The producers of Ghost The Musical are pleased to announce that this unique video from The Ghost Light Sessions is now available for viewing on the show's You Tube page. The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre Box Office (205 West 46th Street) opens on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 10am for Ghost The Musical. In celebration, each customer who places an order at the box office on Monday will receive a copy of the London original cast album. In addition, the production has exclusively released 50 tickets for the opening night performance on Monday, April 23rd at 6:30pm. Previously unavailable to the public, visitors to the box office will have an opportunity to purchase these opening night tickets on a first come, first served basis. PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL, currently on Broadway in previews at The Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway) stars Tony Award nominee Will Swenson, Olivier Award nominee Tony Sheldon and Nick Adams as the trio of friends on a heart-warming, uplifting adventure who hop aboard a battered old bus searching for love and friendship in the middle of the Australian outback and end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed.

This is the second in a series of video previews for the North American Premiere of Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Cast members say hello to BWW and tell us a bit about their arrival in Toronto. The show begins previews on October 12th 2010 with an official opening on October 26th at the Princess of Wales Theatre.

The New York Times reports today that LA CAGE's most temperamental Cagelle, Nick Adams, will be joining the cast of PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT. Assuming the familiar role of yet another drag queen, Adams will play the role of Felicia in the North American company of PRISCILLA, which will open at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto on October 12 before heading to Broadway next spring.

Without auditioning or formally training in dance, Jimmy has performed in four hit musicals on Broadway.
