DOLE Fruit Bowls and Captain Planet Foundation (CPF) are excited to announce that Washington DC's School Within School is the Grand Prize Winner of the DOLE Fruit Bowls & Captain Planet Foundation's Learning Garden Challenge. School Within School at Goding will receive $5,000, a one-year supply of DOLE Fruit Bowls and a variety of Learning Garden tools from Captain Planet Foundation.

The stars of the wine and culinary worlds will descend upon South Walton, Florida this week as Cristina Mariani-May and dozens of major winemakers, along with one of the world's most prolific chefs, Emeril Lagasse, gear up to participate in the South Walton Beaches Wine and Food Festival April 24-27. This four-day extravaganza features more than 800 wines, an extensive culinary village, wine dinners, tasting seminars, a craft beer and spirit event and live entertainment over four days.

Muse of Fire Theatre Company today announced a unique fundraiser - a gourmet dinner and reading of Romeo and Juliet where the roles are auctioned off to the general public. No acting experience required! The event, catered by two-time James Beard Award winning Chef Sarah Stegner of Prairie Grass Cafe in Northbrook, is co-hosted by beloved local children's librarian Martha Meyer and Board Member Julie Fenton.

On Wednesday, April 9, more than 270 friends of God's Love We Deliver gathered at the 11th Annual Authors In Kind. This literary luncheon, held at the Metropolitan Club, was emceed by Board Member, author extraordinaire and Authors In Kind founder, Linda Fairstein. Linda introduced each guest author, who then took the podium to share anecdotes and remarks about their work to the delight of our many guests. Powered by its high-quality original programming and digital innovations, Bravo Media is on pace to earn its best quarter in network history among all key demos, according to Nielsen. Bravo ranks #9 in the highly coveted P18-49 and P25-54 demos and maintains the #1 ranking for most engaged viewers for P18-49 in primetime. After eight consecutive years of growth in total viewership, the network averaged 1.1 million total viewers and 629,000 adults 18-49 this past quarter, up 7 percent and 1 percent respectively vs. Q1 2013. Driven by the strength of its Sunday night lineup with “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,”“Blood, Sweat & Heels” and “Thicker Than Water,” Bravo earned its best night ever among all key demos (1/5/14). In addition, the week of February 3 marked the network's most-watched week ever in primetime and delivered its best week among P18-49 since the week of 4/16/12.
