Fox has officially extended the second season of NEW GIRL for an extra two weeks, picking up two additional episodes to the original order of 22. NEW GIRL will run for 24 episodes this season, consistent with its output from last year.

Deadline reports that Olivia Munn will appear in a guest-starring multi-episode story arc on the hit FOX comedy NEW GIRL. The actress will portray Angie, a new romantic interst for Jake Johnson's Nick.
