Fresh off the success of Acorn Productions' first-ever children's theater production, the company presents its second installment of the new Fairy Tale Players' inaugural season.

Urban Stages' (Frances Hill, Founder/Artistic Director, Lauren Schmiedel, Managing Director) continues it 25th season celebrating diversity and new works with the March line-up of URBAN STAGES' NEW PLAY READING SERIES. The readings will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout March at 6PM and are FREE to the public. Each reading will be followed by a Q&A with the playwright and cast. Urban Stages (Frances Hill, Founder/Artistic Director, Lauren Schmiedel, Managing Director) will continues its 25th Season celebration with a look at its past premiers. Over the next eight weeks Urban Stages will revive six of the best World and New York Premieres the company has mounted over the past 25 years. The performances will take place on Mondays at 6PM at Urban Stages Theatre (259 West 30th Street) at 6PM, beginning March 9 through April 20, 2009.

Mother Courage, presented by the Public Theater, opened at the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park on August 21st after beginning previews on August 8th
