On November 16, a new musical version of A Christmas Carol entitled A Carol Christmas will open at Group Rep in North Hollywood. Doug Haverty wrote the book and Bruce Kimmel, the music and lyrics. COD College Theater's Production Of A CHRISTMAS CAROL Comes To The MAC

College of DuPage (COD) College Theater presents Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," adapted by William J. Norris and directed by COD Professor of Theater, Amelia Barrett at the McAninch Arts Center, Thanksgiving Weekend, Nov. 23-25. In addition, a performance has been added for area school children, grades 2nd and up Monday, Nov. 26 at 10 a.m. Audience members arriving early to the Nov. 23-25 performances will be serenaded with Christmas songs by members of the cast, and Santa will be in the lobby following the matinee performances on Nov. 23 and 24, to chat and pose for photos.

Theatre Of Yugen Presents A NOH CHRISTMAS CAROL

Due to popular demand, Theatre of Yugen is bringing back its critically acclaimed work, A Noh Christmas Carol! Originally premiering in 1993, this adaptation, written by Theatre of Yugen Founder Yuriko Doi, utilizes the traditional Japanese theatre forms of Noh, Kyogen, Kabuki, and the avant-garde dance form Butoh to retell the Dickens classic.

DCPA Announces Full Casting For A CHRISTMAS CAROL and THE SANTALAND DIARIES

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) announces full casting for the Theatre Company's production of A Christmas Carol and Off-Center's production of The SantaLand Diaries. The 2018 production of The SantaLand Diaries will mark the final year of the annual collaboration between Off-Center and Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company (BETC).  

A CHRISTMAS CAROL Returns to Ford's Theatre This December

Ford's Theatre Director Paul R. Tetreault announced that acclaimed Washington actor Craig Wallace will return to Ford's to perform the role of Ebenezer Scrooge for the company's holiday production of A Christmas Carol. Performances of the classic Charles Dickens story begin November 15 and continue for a six-and-a-half-week engagement through December 30, 2018. This "musically high-spirited" and "infectiously jolly" (The Washington Post) production is adapted by Michael Wilson and directed by Michael Baron.
