BURN THE FLOOR, the electrifying Latin and Ballroom dance spectacular, opened this weekend at Broadway's Longacre Theatre (220 W. 48 Street). BURN THE FLOOR has thrilled audiences in over 30 countries, and is the first show of the new Broadway season, playing a limited 12-week engagement. BroadwayWorld's cameras were on hand as the starry audience made their way into the theatre to enjoy the opening night performance!

On Monday, Broadway's best singers gathered on the Town Hall stage to perform some of the funniest, most dramatic, most rousing and most poignant showstoppers from musicals. Ably directed by Scott Thompdon and musically guided by musical director Fred Barton (who must surely have an aging portrait locked in at attic somewhere, and who performed mere days after sustaining injuries in a car accident), the evening represented songs ranging from jazz standards by Eubie Blake to this year's Tony winner for best score, Next to Normal.

Actor Jack Noseworthy will be making his debut appearance at the celebrated Feinstein's at Loews Regency on Monday, June 29, at 8:30 p.m. This one-night-only show, Come Fly With Me, will feature an entertaining repertoire of songs including, 'Better' by Edward Kleban from A Class Act, 'One Track Mind' by Marvin Hamlisch from Sweet Smell of Success, a tribute to George M. Cohan and the title song, 'Come Fly With Me' by Jimmy Van Heusen and Sammy Cahn.

Guys and Dolls stars Oliver Platt ('Nathan Detroit'), Lauren Graham ('Miss Adelaide'), Craig Bierko ('Sky Masterson') and Kate Jennings Grant ('Sarah Brown'). The first joint Broadway project by two-time Tony Award winning director Des McAnuff and choreographer Sergio Trujillo since their collaboration on the Tony Award winning musical Jersey Boys, Guys and Dolls began previews on February 5, 2009 at Broadway's newly refurbished Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street). The cast celebrated Opening Night on March 1, 2009 and BroadwayWorld's cameras greeted the starry arrivals.
