Next month, 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. A recipient of the 2022 Tony Awards Honor for Excellence in the Theatre, 54 Below celebrates Broadway musicals and writers of the past and present, promoting an ongoing engagement with their work.
After four widely heralded self-released albums, Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Jessie Kilguss is clearly on the verge of gaining the wider recognition she so decidedly deserves. Her mood-affecting melodies reflect an artist who consistently proves herself remarkably adept at expressing a wide array of interests and emotions that stir the senses through both her vocals and in her verse.
As many of you know, Arena Stage's Artistic Director Molly Smith has been very active on a number of national social issues, including LGBT rights and gun control in addition to her exemplary artistic work. In this way, perhaps it's only natural that the headliner at this year's Arena Stage Gala on May 10th is not only a great singer/songwriter, but also an accomplished speaker and humanitarian.

The world premiere musical REVOLUTION IN THE ELBOW… rocked Grand Central Terminal last Thursday August 21st with a special medley performed by cast members Graydon Long, Brad Nacht and Marrick Smith backed by the show's band. The performance was part of the weeklong "Life's a Picnic in Grand Central" event. With book, music & lyrics by Ívar Pall Jonsson, the cast of REVOLUTION IN THE ELBOW… also includes Tony Award winner Cady Huffman and Kate Shindle.
