TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD Extends For a Final Time to 20 May

The critically-acclaimed commercial hit production of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird – a new play by multi-award-winning Aaron Sorkin, directed by Tony Award-winning Bartlett Sher, extends for a final time at the Gielgud Theatre.

TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD Extends Following Opening Night

Barry Diller and Sonia Friedman today announce the extension of the critically acclaimed West End production of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird – a new play by Aaron Sorkin – with the production now running at the Gielgud Theatre until 19 November, 2022.

All new photos have been released of the West End production of To Kill a Mockingbird. The production will open at the Gielgud Theatre on 31 March 2022, with previews from 10 March. This new play by Aaron Sorkin is based on Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, and directed by Bartlett Sher.

On Wednesday 10 June 2020, the scholar James Nwoye Adichie died in Nigeria. Three months later, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, the acclaimed author of Half a Yellow Sun and Americanah, published a beautiful tribute to the father she loved 'so much, so fiercely, so tenderly', a poignant meditation on the meaning, impact and nature of grief, in the New Yorker. Out of that essay grew a book, published in May 2021.

Cast Announced For London's Free Open Air Theatre Season 2019

London's Free Open Air Theatre Season will return to The Scoop at London Bridge City for a 16th year with the world premiere of The Sea Queen, a one-hour family show about the Irish pirate Grainne O'Malley, and Shakespeare's popular romantic comedy Twelfth Night.
