BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival is pleased to present a free performance by the world-renowned and ever-creative dance company, Pilobolus, on Thursday, July 6. The performance will take place at the Prospect Park Bandshell (9th St. & Prospect Park West), is free to the public (with a suggested $5 contribution at the gate) and begins at 8:00 P.M.

Celebrating the power of Jacob's Pillow's natural setting, internationally acclaimed dance company Pilobolus Dance Theater will premiere a new work commissioned specifically for the Pillow's iconic outdoor Inside/Out performance space, set against the Berkshire hills. Annenberg Center Live welcomes the U.S. tour of Pilobolus Dance Theater's wildly theatrical Shadowland. Continuing the company's experimentation with shadow-theatre, Shadowland is a full-length performance about a teenage girl's fantastical journey through a dreamlike shadow world. The show runs April 6-8 at Annenberg Center Live. The internationally acclaimed dance company Pilobolus has launched a grassroots get-out-the-vote campaign. The campaign started with a Robert Whitman photograph of the company's dancers' bodies spelling out the word "VOTE" at their home base in Connecticut. The groundbreaking and internationally acclaimed Connecticut-based dance company Pilobolus will be putting on a free, outdoor performance at Riverfront Recapture's stage on the banks of the Connecticut River at the Mortensen Riverfront Plaza in downtown Hartford for the 7th year in a row. The event, which is free of charge and open to the public, will take place at 7:30 pm. tonight, September 22, 2012.
