In between the last two shows of the Italian Theatre Festival, poet and novelist Ben Okri, critic and author Emanuele Trevi, and writer Gilles Affray gathered in the basement bar of The Print Room at the Coronet to discuss words and theatre. Chaired by Marco Delogu, President of the Italian Cultural Institute in London, the conversation spanned from the role of adaptation and respect towards the original authors to the nature of the art.
The first edition of the Italian Theatre Festival, curated by Monica Capuani and in partnership with the Italian Cultural Institute in London, brings contemporary Italian theatre to London. Presented mainly in Italian with surtitles, it kicks off with Hanno Tutti Regione (which means 'everyone is right'), written by Academy Award winner for The Great Beauty Paolo Sorrentino and directed and performed by Iaia Forte.

Opening Night is set for September 27th. This limited Off-Broadway engagement runs through October 21st only. Performances will be in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between Dyer and 10th Avenues).

The 6th Edition of In Scena! Italian Theater Festival NY presented by Kairos Italy Theater and KIT Italia, had its most successful Festival to date showcasing a record 12 shows, brought over from Italy to NYC. The 15-day, 5-borough Festival, founded by KIT Artistic Director Laura Caparrotti and KIT Italia Artistic Director Donatella Codonesu, boasted many sold out shows and events. This year's Fest celebrated women with 7 female authors represented as well as 6 female directors

Panorama Europe 2018, the tenth edition of the essential festival of new and vital European cinema, co-presented by Museum of the Moving Image and the members of EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture), includes fiction and documentary works that present a portrait of contemporary Europe during a period of tremendous flux. The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center is happy to announce the full line-up of its annual PEN World Voices International Play Festival. As part of the 2018 PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature, the International Play Festival will showcase play readings by ten voices from around the globe. With playwrights hailing from four different continents, the Festival aims to enrich awareness of global dialogues, by bridging American audiences and international theatre-makers. All readings will be followed by discussion with the playwrights and directors.
