Blessed Unrest Presents A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, 3/20 - 4/12

Blessed Unrest, Winner of the 2008 New York Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Production of a Play, presents A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM at the Interart Theater, 500 West 52nd Street, New York, NY 10019. Performances begin Saturday, March 20 through Monday, April 12.

3LD Art & Technology Center Presents THE DIARY OF A TEENAGE GIRL Starting 3/15

Aaron Louis (Producing Director, 3LD Art & Technology Center) in association with New Georges and The Essentials, will present the world premiere of THE DIARY OF A TEENAGE GIRL, written by Marielle Heller, adapted from the hit graphic novel of the same name by Phoebe Gloeckner, and directed by Sarah Cameron Sunde and Rachel Eckerling in a multi-media production. Performances will begin on Sunday, March 15 at 8:00 p.m. at 3LD Art & Technology Center, 80 Greenwich Street (just south of Rector Street). The official opening night will be Sunday, March 28 at 8:00 p.m. (Performances will run through Monday, April 12.)

Due to popular demand, Chris Henry & Royal Family's production of Sean Cullen's SAFE HOME, directed by award winning director Chris Henry, will receive an extension through February 13, 2010.

Chris Henry & Royal Family's World Premiere Production of Sean Cullen's Safe Home, directed by award winning director Chris Henry will receive a three performance extension through February 3, 2010. Safe Home began performances on Friday, January 8 and opened on January 14; it was originally slated to close on January 31, but will now run through Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Women's Interart Center (500 West 52nd Street). Tickets are $18 and can be purchased by visiting www.SmartTix.com or call (212) 868-4444. Added performances are: Monday, February 1; Tuesday, February 2 & Wednesday, February 3 all at 7PM, Safe Home is 90 minutes long with no intermission.

Liz Rebert has stepped into the world premiere production of 11, September at the Odyssey Theatre (replacing Hedy Burress). Paul Kampf's edgy new drama asks the question, 'What are own, personal 9/11s - those defining moments in our lives that change everything?' 11, September opens at the Odyssey Theatre on January 8.

'VIVA PATSHIVA' Gypsy Rock Opera Welcomes METROFOLK 3/28

Following the Gypsy Rock Opera fusion of Viva Patshiva, the chairs will be cleared and the Metrofolk Band will take the stage to teach and play traditional Hungarian Gypsy folk dance and music.
