Adrian Lester, Jason Manford and Meow Meow will star in the Royal Albert Hall's production of Guys and Dolls, which comes to the iconic London venue for three performances only in October.

A screening of the National Theatre Live recording of the National Theatre's production of classic Stephen Sondheim musical Follies will be taking place this weekend at River Stage festival. Set in 1971, New York, the production follows the reunion of a group of showgirls at the theatre where they used to perform which is about to be demolished.

Allelujah! - the new play by Alan Bennett which received its world premiere at the Bridge Theatre last month - will be in cinemas on 1st November with National Theatre Live.

Daniel Schumann, Lee Dean and Cambridge Arts Theatre in association with Birmingham Repertory Theatre today announce John Stahl (Big Ger Cafferty) and Cathy Tyson (Siobhan Clarke) will join Charles Lawson (John Rebus) in Rebus: Long Shadows, a brand new Rebus story written exclusively for the stage by author of the original novels, Ian Rankin and playwright Rona Munro. Over the course of a 15-year run she sold almost two million tickets and became the longest-running solo comedy show in the history of Las Vegas. She was named Las Vegas's Comedian of the Year nine years in a row and in 2006 received The Nevada Ballet's Woman of The Year Award.

Investec Opera Holland Park (OHP) marked one year since the tragic Grenfell fire with the Hope for Grenfell Memorial Gala on Wednesday, 13 June. The concert was given in memory of Debbie Lamprell, a much-loved member of OHP's staff who was lost in the disaster, and all the fire's victims. All proceeds will be donated to the Rugby Portobello Trust (RPT) and the final total is still being calculated, but it is hoped to exceed £100k.

The Royal Albert Hall rolls the dice this October with a semi-staged version of the classic musical comedy, Guys and Dolls, directed and choreographed by two-time Olivier Award-winner, Stephen Mear.

Production has begun on “Maleficent II,” a sequel to the 2014 global box office hit “Maleficent,” at Pinewood Studios and on locations throughout the U.K.. Oscar® and three-time Golden Globe® winner Angelina Jolie (“Girl, Interrupted,” “Wanted”) and Elle Fanning (“The Beguiled,” “Super 8”) reprise their roles as the dark fairy Maleficent and Princess Aurora, respectively, two characters from the studio's animated classic “Sleeping Beauty,” whose untold story was brought to life on screen in “Maleficent.”

The new production of THE RINK will play at Southwark Playhouse for a limited season from 25 May to 23 June 2018, with a national press night on Tuesday 29 May. Further casting to be announced.

At this year's Chita Rivera Awards, actress, dancer, and choreographer Carmen de Lavallade received the second annual Lifetime Achievement Award, iconic composer John Kander received the Outstanding Contribution to Musical Theater as a Composer and legendary theater director and producer Harold Prince was presented with the SDC Director Award for Exemplary Collaboration with Choreographers.
