Music Theatre of Madison (MTM), a nine year old professional musical theatre company focusing on lesser-known musicals, will present the Midwest premiere of Ryan Scott Oliver's 35MM: A Musical Exhibition. The production will be staged at the Goodman Community Center, 149 Waubesa St., tonight, May 7, and May 8, 9, 14, 15 & 16. Performances will be at 7:00pm each night, with the exception of May 9, when the performance will be at 8:00pm. Tickets will be available beginning April 1st via the MTM's website, www.mtmadison.com.
L. Frank Baum's beloved classic story of Dorothy and her friends in the land of Oz gets a reboot-literally-in a video game setting. OZ 2.5, a world premiere by Catherine Trieschmann, wraps up the Theatre for Young Audiences season at South Coast Repertory, May 22-June 7, on the Julianne Argyros stage.
