New York City Ballet announced today that Andrew Litton has been named the Company's next Music Director. Litton, who currently serves as Music Director of both Norway's Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and Denver's Colorado Symphony Orchestra, will become NYCB's Music Director Designate, effective immediately, and will begin his first season as the Company's Music Director next September for the start of NYCB's 2015-16 season.

Staying true to the original text, this version of A Christmas Carol - A Musical to Raise the Spirits, with book and lyrics by Chris Blackwell and music by Piers Chater Robinson, draws upon Dickens' themes of time, family, and society's ills. The production will open today, December 5th and run through December 21st at Sol Theatre in Boca Raton.

This week's 200th episode of SUPERNATURAL may go down in fandom history as one of the greatest episodes ever aired throughout its ten-season run. 'Fan Fiction' sought to bring some of the shows greatest aspects to the forefront, falling in line with similar episodes like 'Changing Channels' and 'The French Mistake.'
