BroadwayWorld has confirmed that that Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Camryn Manheim ('The Practice,' 'Ghost Whisperer'), Drama Desk Award nominee Patrick Page (Cymbeline at Shakespeare in the Park, Casa Valentina, Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark), and Theater World Award winner Russell Harvard (Tribes, 'Fargo,' There Will Be Blood), have completed the casting for Deaf West's acclaimed production of Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik's Spring Awakening, directed byMichael Arden and choreographed by Spencer Liff. Elizabeth Greene and Daniel Marmion also join the production as swings.

Ken Davenport, Cody Lassen, Hunter Arnold and Deaf West Theatre (Artistic Director David J. Kurs) have announced that the rebellious students from the acclaimed Deaf West production of Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik's Spring Awakening, directed by Michael Arden and choreographed by Spencer Liff, will transfer with the musical to Broadway. Four new swings join the Broadway company.

Hailing all deaf actors in NYC! BroadwayWorld just got word that the newly announced Broadway production of Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik's SPRING AWAKENING will hold open auditions next Thursday, July 16, in New York City.

Today, producer Ken Davenport shared his thoughts on why he decided to bring the musical back to Broadway in his latest edition of The Producer's Perspective.

Ken Davenport, Cody Lassen, Hunter Arnold and Deaf West Theatre (Artistic Director David J. Kurs) announced today that Spring Awakening, the Tony Award-winning Best Musical of 2007, will play a strictly limited Broadway engagement at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) with previews beginning on Tuesday, September 8 and opening night set for Sunday, September 27. The show will run 18 weeks only, through Saturday, January 9, with no extension possible. It will be performed simultaneously in American Sign Language and spoken English by a cast of 27. Deaf West was last represented on Broadway with the triumphant production of Big River in 2003.

The company of Broadway's The Visit gathered in the studio on April 27th to record the musical's original cast album. The Visit is the final musical ever written by legendary Oscar Award, Grammy Award and Tony Award-winning composer John Kander and his writing partner lyricist Fred Ebb, before Mr. Ebb passed away. Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Kinky Boots has implemented a new digital lottery, allowing potential audience members to purchase $37 day-of tickets from anywhere.

The Toronto Star writes that the Canadian premiere of the Tony Award-winning KINKY BOOTS, which opened June 28 at the Royal Alexandra Theatre, has been extended through November 8, 2015. Tickets for the added six weeks of performances go on sale July 6.

The upcoming UK premiere of Kinky Boots, Broadway's huge-hearted, high-heeled hit, today announces the opening of a new booking period, with tickets now available until Saturday 6 February 2016. Tickets for this extended period will go on sale from Monday 29 June 2015. Winner of six Broadway Tony® Awards, Kinky Boots will open at London's Adelphi Theatre on 15 September 2015, with previews from 21 August 2015.
