RIALTO CHATTER: Moss & Knightley-Led THE CHILDREN'S HOUR Coming to Broadway in Fall, 2011?

As BroadwayWorld reported last week, Ian Rickson will direct Keira Knightley and Elisabeth Moss in Lillian Hellman's The Children's Hour due to open in the West End in early 2011 for a limited run that will shutter in the spring. The New York Times suggests today that the production could be bound for Broadway in the fall of 2011, taking a hiatus to accommodate Knightley and Mosses respective filming schedules next summer.

2010 London Evening Standard Awards Announces Long List

The Evening Standard Theatre Awards, established in 1955, are presented annually for outstanding achievements in London Theatre. Sponsored by the Evening Standard newspaper, the 2010 Awards will be presented at the Savory on November 28, 2010. The short list of the 2010 nominees will be released one week prior to the ceremony.

Full Cast Announced For Old Vic's A FLEA IN HER EAR

Richard Eyre will direct John Mortimer's translation of Georges Feydeau's 1907 classic farce A FLEA IN HER EAR , opening for previews on 4 December 2010 (press night: 14 December). Starring Tom Hollander with Di Botcher, Jonathan Cake, Oliver Cotton, Lisa Dillon, Freddie Fox, Fiona Glascott, Lloyd Hutchinson, John Marquez, Tim McMullan, William Maxwell, Rebecca Night, Maggie Service and Walter Van Dyk, A Flea in Her Ear is a comedy of errors set against a backdrop of misunderstanding and confusion. A Flea in Her Ear is a co-production with Sonia Friedman Productions and is the second play in The Old Vic 2010-11 Season. The Season is sponsored by Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

ALL MY SONS Extends At The Apollo Theatre Through Oct 2

Howard Davies' critically acclaimed production of All My Sons at the Apollo Theatre has extended its run by 3 weeks and is now booking until 2 October 2010. So close to his own life, Long Day's Journey Into Night is a story O'Neill did not want shared until 25 years after his death.

Donmar's KING LEAR To Be Broadcast by NT Live Feb 3 2011

As The Prince of Homburg opens at the Donmar, Michael Grandage, the company's Artistic Director announces a major expansion to the run of his forthcoming production of King Lear, which will see the company tour nationally, and will be broadcast to over 22 countries worldwide in collaboration with National Theatre Live.

The Tricycle Theatre Closes WOMEN, POWER AND POLITICS, 7/17
