The Top Five - Hollie Cavanagh, Skylar Laine, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez - return to the IDOL stage to sing for America's votes on a British music-themed performance show.

AMERICAN IDOL LIVE! returns this summer for another hit tour to showcase this season's talented top 10 finalists. Launching the careers of many, the AMERICAN IDOL LIVE! Tour is the first chance to see your favorites in concert!

Ryan announced that after 58 million votes had been counted, Elise, Hollie, and Skylar were in the bottom three, which meant that Jessica, Joshua, and Phillip were in the top three. Ryan quickly sent Skylar to safety, leaving Elise and Hollie in the bottom two. Then Elise was the last contestant standing.

Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum artist Carrie Underwood will perform on next week's AMERICAN IDOL. One of AMERICAN IDOL's most successful winners, Underwood has sold more than 12 million records worldwide. Another Grammy Award-winning, chart-topping act, the world-famous alternative rock band Coldplay, also will perform, hitting the IDOL stage for the first time.

Next week, on Wednesday, April 25 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the Top Six - Hollie Cavanagh, Skylar Laine, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez and Elise Testone - return to the IDOL stage to sing for America's votes on a Queen-themed performance show.

On Thursday we found out that '80s night didn't turn out to be so awesome for DeAndre Brackensick, as the judges once again chose to not use their one save of the season on a contestant in jeopardy.

AMERICAN IDOL Season Three finalist and Academy Award and Grammy Award winner Jennifer Hudson along with Ne-Yo and Rick Ross perform their new single, 'Think Like a Man.'

They just moved into the Hollywood Hills mansion, but one contestant is already moving out. Hollie Cavanagh, Skylar Laine, and Heejun Han found themselves in the bottom three on Thursday night, and Heejun was the last man standing.

On next week's AMERICAN IDOL, Nicki Minaj will take the stage and perform her megahit 'Starships' and Season 10 IDOL winner and platinum-selling country artist Scotty McCreery will return to perform his newest single, 'Water Tower Town.'

Thankfully, Idol chose not to go with a specific artist's songbook this week - one can only take so much of a weird sort of karaoke night where the jukebox is stuck on one artist - and instead had the contestants perform songs from their own idols (solo and as part of three trios), resulting in some variety at long last.
