They're sold as soon as the box office opens at 10 a.m., so the early bird gets the rush. At many shows, getting in line by 7 a.m. often does the trick.

CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY Will Release Cast Recording in June; Rush Policy Announced!

Producers Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, Langley Park Productions and Neal Street Productions announced today that a new block of tickets for Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will go on sale on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 10AM for performances through Sunday, April 22, 2018. Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which is currently in performances at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street), officially opens Sunday, April 23, 2017.

Sonia Plumb Dance Company Presents WAVES: SOUND & LIGHT, 4/29

Sonia Plumb Dance Company will present Waves: Sound & Light, a new dance concert that Artistic Director Sonia Plumb describes as an “immersion of tantalizing sights and sounds that asks audiences how they take in sound and light.” There will be one evening performance Saturday, April 29th at 7:30 pm. The company will also perform two student matinees on Thursday, April 27th at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. All performances are at the Hoffman Auditorium at the University of St. Joseph, 1678 Asylum Avenue, West Hartford. General admission tickets for the evening performance are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors/USJ alumni, and $15 for students. Tickets for the student matinees are $10 each.

 Delta Highway Productions presents the Los Angeles Premiere of Emmitt and Ava written and directed by two-time Ovation winner Dominic Hoffman. Tucker Smallwood shares the stage with with Tom Schanley, Stephanie Schulz and Harry Fowler in Emmitt and Ava, a contemporary tale of love and loss. Two families, unacquainted with one another, suddenly find themselves forced to communicate on most intimate terms. Emmitt and Ava is a play as dynamic as it is relevant.
