The Women's Forum of New York will present the inaugural Elly Awards Luncheon benefitting The Education Fund of The Women's Forum on Wednesday, June 15 at The Plaza Hotel in New York City. The awards, named for The Women's Forum founder Elinor Guggenheimer, will honor outstanding women leaders.

Oprah Winfrey Network will celebrate mothers around the world with two new documentary specials -- 'Extraordinary Moms' from Red Om Films, executive produced by Julia Roberts, will be presented on Saturday May 7 from 8-9:30 p.m. (ET/PT) and 'No Woman, No Cry,' from Christy Turlington Burns will immediately follow from 9:30-11 p.m. (ET/PT).

On Monday, November 8th, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation will honor Julie Andrews along with Grammy® Award Winners John Legend, John Mayer and The ASCAP Foundation. Paul Williams, legendary songwriter and President of The ASCAP Foundation, will accept on behalf of The Foundation. Additionally, Natasha Bedingfield, a member of the VH1 Save The Music Alumni Ambassador Group, is scheduled to perform and the program for the evening, presented by LG Mobile Phones, will celebrate music as a universal language that shapes our life stories and include a special tribute to the 45th Anniversary of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The Sound of Music by Kristin Chenoweth. The festivities will be hosted by Broadway veteran and 30 Rock star Cheyenne Jackson.

In light of the recent attention on suicide amongst gay youth driven by bullies, actors, musician, politicians and more have been teaming up with the Trevor Project for the 'It Gets Better' campaign, encouraging gay or questioning youth to hold their heads high and seek help. The 2010-2011 season of Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at the Music Center begins by welcoming the debut of Spain's only classical ballet company Corella Ballet Castilla y León to the Ahmanson Theatre, November 5-7,2010. The company was founded by American Ballet Theatre principal dancer, Ángel Corella to promote classical ballet in Spain and to nurture Spanish dancers and offer them an opportunity to cultivate their talent in their home country. Corella Ballet Castilla y León offers a wide repertoire, incorporating classical, neoclassical and contemporary choreography.
