David Hernandez To Celebrate Album Launch Party This Saturday

Phoenix's own David Hernandez, will perform songs from his new album, Kingdom: The Mixtape, and conduct a meet-and-greet with fans at Kobalt Bar, Saturday, November 10, at 7:30 pm. Kobalt is in Park Central Mall, located between Osborn and Thomas Roads on Central Avenue, 3110 N Central Avenue, Suite 175.

'Simpsons' Inspired MR. BURNS Offers Edgy New Play From Guggenheim Winner Anne Washburn

"Mr. Burns: a Post-Electric Play," written by Anne Washburn and directed by Kyle Cooper, features a group of survivors after the collapse of civilization. The survivors surround a campfire and reminisce about the plot of an episode of "The Simpsons" television show titled "Cape Feare." The production runs November 9-December 2, 2018 in the Young Theatre on campus with Musical Direction by Craig Shields and Choreography by Angeline Mirenda.

Contemporary gentrification debates unlock the early history, stories and memories of Boyle Heights revealing the mythical and human dimensions of L.A.'s own Ellis Island of the West.

Lookingglass Theatre Company announces casting for the world premiere of The Steadfast Tin Soldier: A Christmas Pantomime, from the story by Hans Christian Andersen, conceived and directed by Ensemble Member Mary Zimmerman. This family-friendly, holiday show runs November 7, 2018 - January 13, 2019 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Sanchez, Co-Founder of the Boyle Heights Museum and a USC Professor of History and American Studies, announced today they will present their third exhibition for the Boyle Heights Museum, ROYBAL: A Multi-Racial Catalyst for Democracy, to be housed in the Jean Deleage Arts Gallery in the lobby of CASA 0101 Theater, 2102 East First Street (at St. Louis Street), Boyle Heights, CA 90033. The New Collectives Presents ZODIAC MATH

Zodiac Math, written and performed by Elizabeth May is equal parts 90's pop music video, slumber party seance, and honest confession. Zodiac Math is an evening of intimate storytelling, scored by anachronistic alt-pop. Driven by family folklore of a childhood death curse, Elizabeth May explores questions of sexual identity and twin magic. She's endlessly searching for the missing half of a broken heart necklace, and laying herself bare in a dark comedic ritual that transforms the audience into her imaginary friends. Zodiac Math was developed as part of The New Collectives' Daily Development Workshop at IRT Theatre.

FULL FRONTAL WITH SAMANTHA BEE Gets Voters to the Polls

Ahead of the midterm elections on Tuesday, November 6, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee will air a bonus episode on Monday, November 5 covering local political races to make one final plea to viewers to please, for the love of God, vote. On Wednesday, November 7, the show will unpack the results of the elections and air footage taken at the polls. Both episodes will air on TBS at 10:30pm ET/PT.

Two Michiganders Featured In Disney's ALADDIN Cast in Detroit

Casting has been announced for the Detroit engagement of Disney's Aladdin. The hit Broadway musical will begin performances at the Detroit Opera House on December 12, 2018 for a limited engagement through January 13, 2019.
