Pan Asian Repertory Theatre (Tisa Chang, Artistic Producing Director) will host a one-night only special event celebrating the upcoming season with the 43rd Art & Action Gala Dinner on Thursday evening, October 10, 2019 at The Golden Unicorn Restaurant in Chinatown (18 East Broadway at Catherine Street). Erin Quill and Henry Yuk return as Master of Ceremonies.

WARRIOR is produced for CINEMAX by Perfect Storm Entertainment, Tropper Ink Productions and Bruce Lee Entertainment; created and executive produced by Jonathan Tropper. Justin Lin and Danielle Woodrow executive produce on behalf of Perfect Storm Entertainment. Shannon Lee executive produces for Bruce Lee Entertainment. A room in a country house sings of those who have lived there over a span of seventy years. Performed with striking theatricality by the OBIE-award winning Talking Band, The Room Sings, uses an array of genres to tell the stories of four interlocking sets of people. As their individual stories unfold they intertwine and illuminate each other.

The Public Theater today announced that NAATCO's acclaimed production of AWAKE AND SING! will extend its limited engagement until August 8th in The Public's Shiva Theater (425 Lafayette Street).

This panel, 'Playing Jewish at the National Asian American Theatre Company', examines the strategy behind, and the effectiveness of, NAATCO's mission through a case study of its productions of plays with all Jewish characters, including the upcoming remount of their production of AWAKE AND SING!

The Public Theater will present NAATCO's acclaimed production of AWAKE AND SING! this summer for a limited engagement beginning Monday, July 6. The National Asian American Theatre Company, under Artistic Producing Director Mia Katigbak and Associate Producer Peter Kim will kick off their 25th Season in residency at The Public with this classic Odets drama. The limited engagement in The Public's Shiva Theater (425 Lafayette Street) will run through Saturday, August 1 with an official press opening on Monday, July 13.
