The World's most beloved Oklahomans, THE FLAMING LIPS are pleased to announce their first tour dates for 2010, in support of their new double album, EMBRYONIC which begins this month in Austin, TX. Tony nominated, Nightlife Award Legend winner Karen Akers will join the cast of the final concert of the Town Hall Summer Broadway Festival on July 26th, ALL SINGIN' ALL DANCIN', directed and choreographed by Jeffry Denman (YANK!).

Students from AMDA, CAP21, Julliard, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Carnegie Melon, Marymount and The New School made their Broadway debut on the stage of The Town Hall last night, July 19, at the 4th Annual Summer Broadway Festival, created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall. This Broadway's Rising Stars program featured music and dance, coupled with witty insider tidbits, all performed by Broadway's finest rising talent from these leading theatrical institutions. The Town Hall is pleased to announce Broadway By The Year's® 10th Anniversary Celebration - Broadway By The Year 1990-2010 on Monday, June 14th at 8PM. This acclaimed series, devoted to the music and history of The Great White Way, will have a cast of 21 and a new format, featuring one song, from one show, for each year between 1990 and 2010.

TPAC is located in the James K. Polk Cultural Center at 505 Deaderick Street in downtown Nashville, occupying an entire city block between 5th and 6th Avenues and Deaderick and Union Streets. Also housing the Tennessee State Museum, the cultural center adjoins the 18 story James K. Polk Office Tower.
