TPAC is located in the James K. Polk Cultural Center at 505 Deaderick Street in downtown Nashville, occupying an entire city block between 5th and 6th Avenues and Deaderick and Union Streets. Also housing the Tennessee State Museum, the cultural center adjoins the 18 story James K. Polk Office Tower.

Longtime collaborators James Lapine and John Weidman announced the renaming of Henry Miller's Theatre to the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. The renaming of the theatre is dedicated to Stephen Sondheim, the greatest and best known artist in American musical theatre on his 80th birthday. The announcement was made at the curtain call following Roundabout Theatre Company's gala performance of the new Broadway musical Sondheim on Sondheim back on March 22, 2010.

In All Too Human: An Evening with Clarence Darrow, Henry Miller-a trial lawyer himself-explores (among others) 'The Scopes Monkey Trial' , where Darrow defended a teacher's right to teach the theory of evolution in a school in Tennessee; as well as the controversial trial of 'Leopold and Loeb'. Miller's one-act show gives us a fresh insight into why this giant of jurisprudence inspired generations, and left such an indelible mark on the nation. The production will end its run at Two River Theater Company on April 11th.

Reported first earlier today by BroadwayWorld.com's scoopster, Rialto Chatter, it's now been confirmed that the show will indeed close on April 4, 2010. The show has been struggling at the box office since it opened. The show will have played 27 previews and 20 regular performances.
