The American Theatre Wing has announced new appointments to its Board of Trustees and Advisory Committee.

National Endowment for the Arts Chairman Jane Chu has approved more than $82 million to fund local arts projects across the country in NEA's second major funding announcement for fiscal year 2017. The American Theatre Wing and The Village Voice have announced that the star-studded line-up of presenters at tonight's 62nd Annual Obie Awards.

Obie and Screen Actors Guild® Award-winning actress Lea DeLaria will return as the host at the 62nd Annual Obie Awards, which will be held tonight, May 22, 2016 at Webster Hall (125 East 11th Street). A friendly reminder! Theatre for a New Audience presents the Yale Repertory Theatre production of Samuel Beckett's masterpiece Happy Days, beginning this Sunday, April 23. Two-time Academy Award-winner Dianne Wiest (Hannah and Her Sisters, Bullets over Broadway) plays Winnie, widely considered modern drama's pinnacle female role, alongside Jarlath Conroy, who plays Willie, directed by Yale Repertory Theatre Artistic Director James Bundy.
